Thinking More About Post-Electoral Racial Justice

There has been a lot of talk the last few weeks about what an Obama victory might mean for race relations and racism in the US, with people weighting in from all sides. You can find a few examples hereherehere and here.

There was also a fruitful discussion that ARC hosted that brought together a bunch of folks all working on racial justice, which you can listen to as an audio file right here. It’s about an hour long and worth the taking the time to listen to.

And speaking of continued struggle, check out this exclusive RaceWire clip of Frederick K Brewington, a civil rights attorney from Long Island, talking about the history of social struggle and keeping focused on post-election racial politics, from the recent protests at Hofstra on Oct 15.
